And it is possible to buy goods for coins or supplies, so you won't be stuck even is there is no one to trade with.īut Elvenar is OK as a simple single-player-type city building game. There are only 9 goods in Elvenar, you have bonus for producing 3 of them, but the bonus is much less than 5 times (as in FoE), so you can produce all goods. No guilds and I hardly can imagine what function they can have. There is mail system, but there is simply no need for using it. It's good that there is "Auto Fight" button, which allows you to chose your army and let computer do the rest - you don't even need to load the battle screen.Īnother huge flaw of Elvenar is that there is no interaction between players. Elvenar battle system is much simpler than in FoE, I would say it's quite primitive and not interesting. And you can negotiate instead of fighting. There is no fights between players, only on the map. You can upgrade only 2 buildings at a time (5 for premium users), which means that your city is in a state of constant upgrade and there is no need to fine-tune city layout. The largest difference is that in FoE you delete old buildings and then build new ones, while in Elvenar you build building of level 1, then upgrade it "in-place" up to higher levels. City building scheme is also similar - all buildings except culture should be connected to the Town Hall, no rotation is possible. Elvenar uses practically the same system or resources (coins, supplies, FP (Knowledge Points in Elvenar), happiness (culture), goods).
